1. What Are Cookies

At Zelfium, we use cookies solely for essential functionality. We do not use cookies to track your behavior, build advertising profiles, or share your information with third-party marketers.

Zelfium uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies that are required for the platform to operate correctly. These cookies enable core features such as secure authentication, session management, and payment processing.
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC), strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement because they are essential for the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user. Since all cookies used by Zelfium fall within this "strictly necessary" exemption, we do not require cookie consent for their use.
Without these cookies, essential services such as logging in, accessing your assessment results, and processing payments cannot function. We do not use any cookies that are not directly required for service delivery.
3. What We Do NOT Use
Zelfium is committed to respecting your privacy. We want to be explicit about what we do not do:
- No analytics cookies — We do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any similar tracking tools via cookies.
- No advertising cookies — We do not serve ads, run retargeting campaigns, or place cookies from ad networks.
- No social media tracking cookies — We do not embed Facebook Pixels, Twitter tags, LinkedIn Insight tags, or any social media trackers.
- No profiling cookies — We do not build behavioral profiles, track you across websites, or sell your browsing data to any third party.
Zelfium uses absolutely NO tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. This is a deliberate design choice and a core privacy commitment. Your personality data is sensitive, and we believe it should never be commoditized through tracking or advertising.

5. Third-Party Cookies
The only third-party cookies present on Zelfium are those set by Stripe, our payment processor. These cookies appear exclusively on checkout and payment pages and are required to securely process transactions, prevent fraud, and comply with payment industry regulations.
Stripe cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. Zelfium does not control the content or behavior of Stripe's cookies. These cookies are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.
6. Managing Your Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are currently stored on your device
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies at once
- Block cookies from specific websites or all websites
- Set preferences for first-party versus third-party cookies
Please note that because Zelfium uses only strictly necessary cookies, disabling them may prevent you from logging in, maintaining your session, or completing payments. If you disable cookies, authenticated features of the platform will not function correctly.

7. Do Not Track
Zelfium honors Do Not Track (DNT) signals sent by your browser. However, because we do not engage in any form of cross-site tracking, behavioral profiling, or advertising-related data collection, your experience on Zelfium is the same regardless of your DNT setting. We do not track you in the first place.
